BESONDERHEITEN
Ein besonderes Stück aus Jürgen Klopps letzter Saison als Spieler bei Mainz 05: 2000/01 gehörte der spätere Welttrainer und heutige Bundestrainer noch zum Mainzer Kader. Am 27. Februar 2001 wechselte er beim selben Verein auf die Trainerbank und begann seine außergewöhnliche Trainerlaufbahn. Dieses Modell erinnert damit an den direkten Übergang vom erfahrenen Spieler zum Cheftrainer am Bruchweg.
Rotes Mainz-05-Heimtrikot von Umbro aus der Saison 2000/01. Auffällig sind der kurze Reißverschluss am gerippten Kragen, die weißen Seiteneinsätze und die Umbro-Musterbänder entlang der Schultern. Der Erdal-Sponsor mit dem bekannten Froschmotiv und das historische Vereinswappen bestimmen die Vorderseite.
Das Ton-in-Ton-Muster im Stoff gibt dem Modell zusätzliche Struktur. Die Rückseite ist ohne Spielername und Nummer gehalten. Ein markantes Stück aus der Mainzer Zweitliga-Zeit vor den späteren Bundesliga-Jahren, mit dem großzügigen Schnitt und den Ausstattungsdetails der späten Umbro-Ära.
